Join Friends of Slow Sanchez in supporting Noe Cares, a project for the Noe Valley community designed to directly support Bay Area immigrant families in partnership with Carecen SF.

Carecen provides bay area immigrants with legal and social services. Their Family Wellness team supports over 150 local immigrant families who are suffering under the current political climate.
The cruelty and lawlessness of ICE has created a climate of fear and isolation for many immigrant families. Parents are afraid to take their children to school, shop for groceries, or appear in immigration court.
Our community can help ease that burden. Our goal is to help support over 150 immigrant families who are served by Carecen SF by:
Contributing children pajamas and bi-lingual books
Donate to support immigrant families in our community
Volunteer to help immigrant families
How you can help:
Drop off new kids pajamas (sized for kids 0-6 years old) and bi-lingual books at Noe Valley Church on 1021 Sanchez Street
Donate to support our immigrant neighbor families at www.noecares.org
How your gifts will help our immigrant neighbors:
Hola Kids Preschool will collect all donated pajamas and books and bring them to Carecen to be distributed.
Noe Valley Church will collect donations and Carecen will distribute those donations to immigrant families as prepaid cards.
Volunteers will receive information on how to play a more active role in supporting our immigrant neighbors
