Free Art Day Adds Flair to Sanchez Street

Friends of Slow Sanchez held their first Free Art Day in Front of Noe Cafe last Sunday. Neighbors had the chance to paint art for the barricades and draw chalk art on the street to liven up our aging barricades before they are replaced with soft hit posts in the next few months.

We will be holding more free art days, the next one coming up in May. We'll post about it here and on social media so watch for the announcement. Until then, we will keep leaving out chalk for street art whenever we clean the street on Wednesdays. We always love seeing your art on the street so please feel free to use whatever chalk we leave out. There's no age limit for it either.
